Scarlet’s First Pumpkin and Successful Photo Shoot!

Scarlet and I spent the afternoon at my Gram’s today. The weather was perfect, so when my princess was fresh from her nap we attempted our first successful photo shoot. I had two adorable outfits. One borrowed from baby Laken and the other a gift from Aunt Roberta. Thanks Ladies! And of course a hand picked pumpkin from the patch in Gram’s back yard. This was also Scarlet’s introduction to grass. She has had her little toes in in before, but has never been able to grab fists full. Needless to say she was very intrigued. And with the help of my wonderful cousin we even got her to sit up for 5 seconds before she toppled. Although she never looked at the camera while attempting this feat. She has not really reached that mile stone just yet. And of course the cousins playing to her right kept her attention better than her mother making silly noises behind her camera. Since the winter weather isn’t going to hold off waiting for Scarlet to get her balance, we tried any way. Well I think these photos speak for themselves. My Scarlet girl looked absolutely beautiful in her scarlet dress. And the adorable brown flowered dress, with silky bloomers, was the perfect outfit to capture Scarlet’s first successful sitting upright photo.

I can’t think of any better time for Scarlet to get her own category on her Momma’s blog.┬áHope you love them as much as I do!
