As many professional photog’s will tell you that shooting their own children often falls second to a clients. And I am soooo guilty of this! I decided a few weeks ago that Scarlet was way over due for a date with Mama’s camera. And I wanted to test out a lens that hasn’t seen the outside of my camera bag in 2 years. My Tamron 17 – 50. We started this journey with some fun pool shots at Nana’s Labor Day party. And Scarlet loves her pool! Two days later we met Nana again for a visit with some ducks. Duck was Scarlet’s first word. And we could barely contain her little body let alone her excitement. Today my beautiful daughter and I spent some time explore GG’s back yard. GG is my Grandmother and my daughter LOVES her! We go up for visits often but rarely do I break out the camera. So she dawned her beautiful flower dress (thanks cousin Megan!) and went out exploring GG’s farm. I just love my toddlers curiosity with absolutely everything. And the beautiful afternoon light enhanced every single photo.

This picture will be printed very large and hanging in my home.
We ended our visit at GG’s with a heaping pile of spaghetti and meatballs. How could you not love this face!
