Doesn’t everyone just love this Pittsburgh weather. I know I do…

Well not really, but there is one thing that being trapped inside during this ice age allows for,  REBRANDING. The wedding photographers favorite winter past time. And over here at RTP we are working hard to make some big changes.

A new face is always at the front of any rebranding project. So we started with a new LOGO. I hired one of my former brides Nicole from Designs by Nicole. Our weddings were exactly 7 days apart. We had the same beautifully sunny days, the same hot sticky weather, and were able to gab about our mutual wedding planning drama. Long story short… we became friends very quickly.

So who want to see this new logo??? Well, you’ll all have to wait just a few more days, ha ha! The brand new RTP website launches this week and my fabulous new logo will be reveled soon enough. I’m so excited to share this new look with the world!

Another big part of a major rebranding for wedding photographers are gorgeous wedding albums. I always have the hardest time choosing which events to use for my sample books. I think it’s because I develop such amazing relationships with all of my clients. I’m always so attached to their wedding photos. This year I chose 2 gorgeous weddings and one fun filled B’Not Mitzvah. I choose one of my favorites from this past season, Ryan and Lee Coslov’s elegant West Moreland Country Club. Wedding. Ryan and Lee’s wedding is also about to be featured on a prominent Pittsburgh Wedding Blog. Woo hoo! More about that will be revealed soon enough. And the second was from Shoeb and Mary’s gorgeous Mansion at Maple Heights wedding. I have developed such an amazing personal friendship with both of these ladies.  I was so excited to use both of their love stories to show case my work.

For my new Mitzvah album I chose an event where 3 young ladies became Bat Mitzvah’s together. This event was so special because these three ladies are sisters, Rachel, Cara and Lauren. From my very 1st meeting with their parents they expressed how important it was for each young lady to feel special. Each should have their moment to shine! My absolute favorite part about shooting Bar and Bat Mitzvah’s is how the whole family come together to help these young people achieve this goal. It’s always so inspiring!

So hear is a view of my new gorgeous albums. I really focused on different textures for the covers. There are so many wonderful options available. I hope you love them as much as I do!

When I send a package to my clients I like to personalize it. In this case I chose a soft pick and very feminine pattern for the cover of the proof book and USB case. One the cover was single image from Meg and Brian’s wedding day portrait session. One of my fav’s of course. I used the same basic design for both books. A little uniformity never hurts. The books were wrapped in pink ribbon to complete the look. And a personal note enclose from me to the couple.

For this Bar Mitzvah proof book I tried to find a fun pattern. Hannah, the Bat Mitzvah, had such an energetic spunky personality. So I tried to choose a pattern to show case that. And, of course, I used the colors from her events decor.

I just love when I get to end wedding season on a romantic high note. And Meg and Brian’s wedding definitely fit that bill. This amazing couple contacted me just a month before their big day. Former clients of mine, Lee and Mary Pat, had passed my name along. Thank you Feigert’s for the referral.

This future Mr and Mrs were planning an elegant evening ceremony at St Clair Country Club. With an intimate reception of close friends and family immediately following. Family is very important to these two. So much so that their wedding party consisted of only their neices and nephews. All eleven of them. I’m not going to lie… I was a bit nervous for family photos. But those cute little ones were a breeze to photograph. During our 1st conversation Meg expressed how much she wanted beautiful portraits of her and Brian. And she wasn’t going to let a little thing like 20 degree weather interfere with our plan for outdoor photos. And I think the photos speak for themselves. So much emotion. So much love. Such a wonderfully bright future for these two amazing people.

Thank you Meg and Brian for choosing me to capture your big day. I really enjoyed being a part of it!

Meet this gorgeous new little jelly bean, Iris. Her mama has been one of my bestie’s for over a decade. And also one of my favorite second shooters for weddings and Mitzvahs. So naturally when I had the opportunity to shoot her maternity session and then this sweet new little’s 1st portraits, I jumped at the chance. And she totally rocked her session. I think the photos speak for themselves. So without further adieu… meet baby Iris!

I love my job. I’ll say it again. I LOVE MY JOB! Especially when I get to take photos for  people that are close to me. Teresa and Gil absolutely fall into that category. Gil is my hubby’s childhood best friend. And Teresa and I have gotten so close over the years. I’ve been fortunate enough to shoot many mile stones for this family. Starting of course with their wedding at the Wendel Inn. And then of course Teresa’s maternity session in a beautiful South Hills park. And of course I had this adorable little guy in my studio for his newborn session. So naturally I was ecstatic when she ask me to take baby G’s 1st birthday pics. We did both studio and outdoor photos. And as you can see baby G rocked them all!

Thank you guys for choosing me to take these photos.
